Returns

    Items returned within 14 days of receipt, in the same condition as they were sent, are eligible for a refund or store credit.

    Refunds are made using the same payment method used for the purchase, subject to previously agreed exceptions.

    The customer is responsible for shipping and other charges when making returns. Shipping and customs charges for the initial purchase are non-refundable.

Taylor's Port wines represent more than three centuries of family tradition that began with the founding of Taylor Fladgate & Yeatman in 1692. A heritage of talent and experience passed down from generation to generation ensures that every Taylor's Port wine is made with the highest quality standard. Blended from rare Port wines aged in old oak casks for five decades, Taylor's Golden Age is a special collector's edition released in limited quantities.

This 50 year old Tawny comes from the easternmost sub-regions of the Douro Valley, where some of the best Quintas are located, traditional sources of the longest-lived wines. Before being blended, the wines aged in Taylor's cellars in old oak casks specially selected by the house's master coopers. After half a century in cask, this exceptional wine has reached its 'Golden Age' of maturity, when it achieves perfect balance, a magical complexity and a very seductive softness and density.

Taylor's Golden Age Very Old Tawny is the perfect wine to celebrate half a century, whether it's a 50th anniversary, a milestone or an achievement five decades old. Brown core, coppery with a fine golden edge. The primary aromas are elegant, rich and very delicate. Notes of rum and raisins, cloves, nutmeg and hints of ground black pepper. Plums, quince and apricots dance on your palate while lemon and orange zest provide fresh acidity that balances the richness of the wine. Notes of braised pineapple, passion fruit and lychee balance beautifully with toasted coconut, almonds and caramel butter. The texture and body of the wine envelop the palate and the finish is fresh and very balanced. The aftertaste seems forever tempting you for more.

In general, an order takes 48 to 72 hours to be delivered in mainland Portugal, up to 15 working days in the islands of Madeira and Azores, up to 7 working days in Peninsular Spain, up to 10 working days in Europe, approximately 15 working days in other locations (except for exceptions to which we are unaware, such as natural disasters). All products sent by Garrafeira Mundo must be examined by the customer immediately upon receipt. If any imperfection or damage to the product is detected, the customer must return it to the transport company, duly justify the reason for the return on the delivery note and immediately notify Garrafeira Mundo.
